Golden Bridge will be holding a series of Forums on topics such as insulation, solar, heat pumps, etc.
The exact schedule is to be determined, but the present plan is for 4-5, one per month, starting in June.

Kent Lawson asks Planning and Zoning to include a statement about climate change in the 2023 Plan of Conservation and Development for Town of Sherman. Kent’s sta tement to P&Z is here.
Greening Sherman will kick off with “Wine, Cheese and the Color Green”, an informal, informational gathering on Sunday, April 16, 4:00 – 6:00 at the JCC.
Bob Fischman, Home Energy coach and Devan Willemsen from Eversource will present brief talks. The Sherman Chamber Ensemble will provide a musical interlude.
The Conservation Commission will present “Plant it and they will come: Attracting Butterflies to your yard, 2:00 PM at the Library. Speaking will be Jim Sirch, from Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History”.
The Conservation Commission will hold an Energy Fair on Saturday, May 6 in the Town Green.
Bob Fischman, our “Home Energy Guru” will present an overview of “Home Energy Efficiency and Savings”. This will be an introductory discussion of the various technologies, their costs and savings, plus financing options, such as tax credits and rebates.
