One way to learn about reducing home energy use is to share experiences with others in our community. We have set up this blog for that purpose – we invite you to ask questions and share ideas and information about costs and savings.
Start with the simple matter of insulation, often a very cost-effective way to save energy, particularly for older homes. Some homes are already “tighter” than others, and their potential savings are limited. But, for example, even recently constructed homes might benefit adding insulation, particularly in the attic.
